Grass Shears For a "Neat Shave" For Your Garden

The humble grass shears are often overlooked by gardeners. Do the sounds of your summer include the buzz of electric or gas-powered grass trimmers? If you want a really neat, manicured appearance to your garden, consider using the grass shears.

The Quiet and Unassuming Grass Shears

Most importantly, grass shears are designed to trim grass around shrubs, plants and walkways. You have a lot more control with grass shears, thereby eliminating any risk to your plants. Some gardeners prefer this type of tool because it is quiet, eliminating the noise of powered trimmers and replacing it with a quiet "click."

If you have ever tripped over the extension cord needed for electric trimmers, or have spilled gas while filling up the tank on the motorized ones, you will understand the sense of frustration but that is not what gardening is all about. Growing plants should create peaceful harmonious presence in your yard.

While powered trimmers can get the job done faster, grass shears offer a quieter and more accurate solution. Grass shears you close to your plants, allowing that special contact between a gardener and the garden. Use the grass shears and you will gain a new appreciation for manicuring your garden.
